Ok so It's been a while since I have been on here. I feel like I need to get back into the swing of things. I am still losing slowly and that's ok. As of date I have lost 54 pounds. I feel so much better. I can walk down the hall at school without getting out of breath. I still have a ways to go ...but I will get there!

Well I have an ecogram and stress test this Tues. on the 11th of Nov. The next Wed. I will have a filter place in on Wed. Then Friday will be the BIG day. I will have WLS....wooohooooo....Change is comin!!!!!!!

I have FINALLY finished the 6 month insurance based weight loss program and I sent my papers in to the dr's office. Last Wed, the dr.'s officecalled and I found out that I was pre approved for my surgery. The date is Nov. 14. I am ready to get my mind in gear for it.
Meeting at the bariatric center

On July 10th I went to the bariatric center in Louisville. It was so exciting, but at the same time I had more questions about which band to choose. I really want to talk to Dr. Geller about this.

This past Thursday night, I went to the bariatric's seminar, and I believe I have chosen to go with the lapband surgery. My friend Trina went with me; she and I are in this together. She is planning on getting the surgery also.
