My names Christina, I live in Ottawa, and have two awesome kids. Ive struggled with weight my whole life. Ive never been skinny. I used to get "mooo'd" off the school bus in middle school, in elementary school I would come home crying because all the kids teased me only to have my family say, "well lose weight then". And then as a teenager, never being comfortable to go out and have fun because of my weight. Now being 29 years old Im sick of it, Im tired of always trying, Im tired of pretending to be confident. Tired of being the really pretty fat girl. And tired of always being on a diet only to gain everything back.
So I talked with dr eliosoff, (whos awesome btw, hes semi retired in an appletree walk in, he used to be a bariatric surgeon in the states) and he sent off me referral to the OHIP central waiting list. I have no idea how long this will take, But im hoping to be able to go to the beach with my kids by 2014, in beach attire!
