Hello. My name is Stacy LaRue but I prefer to be called "LaRue". I am happily married with two children. I work at a Radio station as the business manager and as a DJ.
I was a little chubby as a child and have always been slightly overweight as an adult until I was 24. I got Norplant and my weight skyrocketed. I couldn't seem to stop eating. I got it taken out but then got pregnant with my son. After I had him, I had to have my thyroid removed due to Grave's disease. Then got pregnant with my daughter. Then suffered with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome for many years until having a hysterectomy in 2004. It seems like I have been on a hormonal rollercoaster forever.
I have tried diets, exercise and diet pills. I can lose weight for a while but it all comes back. I turned 40 recently and am scheduled for LapBand on 12/28/06. I am very determined to make this work.
