Carla, You're already out of surgery but wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you as you recover and learn to live your new life, the DS way. It isn't always easy in the beginning....but it gets better a little everyday! So happy for you! Hugs~ Lori

Carla… I was thinking of you yesterday as I drove down to Dayton for my 7 week follow up. It’s a 6+ hour drive, round trip, and I was thinking often of how you are going through the exact same thing I went through only 7 weeks ago. When I was in MVH seeing Dr. Teel I thought of where you were, over in the ambulatory treatment area getting your PIC line put in. Now today I am blessed to hear that you are out of surgery and doing just fine. I’m sure you won’t read this for at least a few days…just know we are thinking of you and hoping your recovery goes as smoothly as possible. Don’t forget your recovery mantra… rest, walk, sip, rest, walk, sip…. Take care and welcome to your new life!
