Lap Band For Me

I had Lap Band surgery in April 2007. It was the BEST thing I have ever done for ME. 
I battled with my weight for SO long after having kids, and I was tired of watching them, instead of getting out there and PLAYING with them, and being a part of the picture. 
I was missing out, and it was making me MISERABLE.
I researched, and researched. Lap band was the best option for me!
I had to jump through a few hoops, and fell on my face each time! My insurance was NOT going to cover my surgery! 
So, luckliy I talked my hubby into taking the money out of savings, and running off to Tijuana, Mexico with me!
It was GREAT. It seemed that the entire staff was completely dedicated to making sure MY experience the BEST.
Funny thing was, there were 5 other ladies there, and they felt the SAME way! It was GREAT. So nice, and clean, and they used more sophisticated technology than here in the US!
Did I mention that it was also $14,000 LESS than it would have cost in the US?
Dr. Ortiz is AWESOME, he trained most of the US doctors, and has done over 6,000 surgeries to date. I KNEW I was in good hands.
So far I've lost 37 pounds! I feel great, and I'm enjoying life again! And this is JUST the beginning!
