My dearest "nephew" Spanky, I am so thrilled that you have reached this part of your journey. And what an amazing journey it has been. You are truly an inspiration to all who are considering this journey. You are such a special person, the way you care for those around you! With the wls and now PS you will be able to care for and help so many more! I am especially proud of your care of your mom and how your journey is inspiring her to take this step. The quality of life of your whole family has improved with your surgery!! And again I want to say how excited I am that you got in the nursing program. The competition was tough, but I knew you'd make it. You have something special and people see that. Your new life and new adventures are well deserved. You have worked hard and earned everything you are reaping now! I only hope you are able to be in SC when I am there. I cannot wait to hug you in person. The day is almost here for you to come out of that cacoon of excess skin and turn into the person that you have worked to be. I want to say just how proud i am of the journey you have taken to get your life to be full of promising new beginnings your health and ability to move will be so much better.
