I started this process almost 5 years ago, thinking the Lap band would be the perfect tool to get me back to a health weight and look great. Well lets just say I was very wrong about that choice. I have gained and lost the same 20-30lbs since surgery. The band fills are uncomfortable, you never know if this is the meal that's going to get stuck and you have to run from the table to puke your brains out. I asked for removal 2 years ago but my surgeon wasn't trying to remove it unless I agreed to gastric bypass something I'm not interested in getting. Now on January 7,2013 I see her and its like the light was turned on and she begins to tell me she thinks removal and the sleeve would be great and they have had lots of success with it!! Duh I been saying that for 2 years. Anyway here I am getting ready to start this process over again.
