Well its been 6 months since my surgery and I have done great! I am down 104 pounds and I feel great. Dr.Olsen saved my life. I havent been this happy in years and I owe it all to my surgeon Dr.Olsen.  I am down from size 24W to a size 11 (yay) I am off all my meds except my seizure meds and Thyroid meds.  I have to take them the rest of my life no getting off them.

Tomorrow will be eight weeks since I had my surgery, I am doing great in the weight loss dept. But the infection in my belly button area has come back. I surely hope that I dont have to deal with this for the rest of my life. It really looks bad, and im scared that the infection will get in my blood stream. I guess I am gonna have to let Dr.Olsen cut it open and drain it as much as I hate the thought of being cut on again. I have lost 51 pounds since my surgery and I have went from a size 24w to a 16w yay!!!! The double chin is almost all the way gone and I feel great. I am off my blood pressure meds and my beta blockers. Except for the infection I am happy I had the surgery....

I have not posted in awhile but I have hurt my back again. But I will try to do better. I am at 219 at this moment and I am seeing more of a inches loss. I was in a size 24 pants and now I am in a size 18 and some 16. Hooray!!!! I will try my best to get some pictures in for my 2 month post surgery. 

Well its June 11,2009  and I am almost a month outthe 18th of may I will be a month out.I have lost 25 pounds since my surgery. I have little problems on my way to here. I have an infection below my belly button that really hurts. But Dr.Olsen gave me some liquid amoxicillian and things are looking better. Once I get over this infection I will be 100%. I have struggled but I am glad I had the rny done.

I had my first post op surgery appointment and it was great!!! I have lost 17 pounds since I had surgery 11 days ago and 23 pounds since my first visit with Dr.Olsen. I am pretty excited that I am finally losing.  I start on my 3rd stage Monday and I can`t wait to finally get to eat something. It has been forever!

Today is 7 days post op and  I am feeling good. I am still sore but I am working through it. I am having trouble getting my liquids in, I am supposed to get 64oz and I do good to get 45oz I am trying real hard. I know that when I get to stage 2 that I will definitely be able to get 64oz in. But I have to wait until Friday to see Dr.Olsen that is my 1st follow up appointment. The surgery went smoothly, the nurses were great. I especially liked my night nurse Irene, she was great!!! I had visitors also and that made my day. It meant so much to me!!!  One thing I hate right now and will probably never eat again is Chicken / Beef broth, I gag when I see it, and the omega 3 tabs is a real gag-fest also. Well I will post again after I have my 1st post op appointment and post my weight and all that good stuff...

Well time has flew by and it is now Saturday May 16 and my surgery is on Monday. I am a little nervous but I am ready. THE LIQUID DIET HAS TO BE THE HARDEST PART!!!! Anyway the countdown is on I a headed to Nashville tomorrow (sunday) and I hope everything goes smoothly and I will get to come home Wednsday.....

Well my surgery is in 11 days and I am nervous but I am also excited. I am so ready to start living my life to its fullest. I am tired of staying home because I don`t have anything to wear and I just don`t feel like being around anyone. In 11 days that will all change. I am going to change my ways and be more outgoing and living my life to the fullest! I hope that everything will be okay and I recover with no complications. I just hope my family understands why I wanted to do this. I am going to add some before pics of me and I hope that it wont take too long to put some after pictures of me on here. My weight as of this day May 7,2009 on my scales is 254.2 . I have lost a total of  6 pounds since Feb.27,2009 yes it has been a slow go but at least I am not gaining. I need to get a measuring tape to keep up with my inches lost. But I was in a 24 w and they were a little big and now I am in a 22w comfortable. I will keep posted my progress weight and pant size. I want my FAT FACE to go away and be normal again!!!!

I have been counting the days till my life changing operation. I cant believe that in only 29 days I will be starting my new life. I have set aside some new goals for myself.
1.) Get approved.............................................................................. Approved on April 13,2009 (WOOHOO)
2.) Get a surgery date by the end of May.....................................  I did May 18, 2009
3.) Make it thru surgery and return home..................................   .I am home but very, very sore!! OUCH.
4.) Wear shorts summer 2010, first time in many years.........
5.) Weigh under 200 pounds........................................................ Accomplished
6.) Weigh under 175 pounds........................................................ Accomplished
7.) Weigh under 150 pounds........................................................
8.) Weigh under 140 pounds........................................................
9.) GOAL WEIGHT 131 POUNDS.................................................

I talked to Kendra today april 14,2009 and my surgery is set up for May 18th. WooHoo thats not bad at all! So lets see in 34 days I will have my RNY surgery. The countdown begins!!!!
