I don't have a pic yet but we (Husband's name is David) are working on it.
I have been heavy since having my second son was born and then I was put in a wheelchair for a bone disease in the spring of 1991. In 2001 I was able to walk again with less pain and got my bus license and started driving again. ( I drove 5 yrs before 1991) But I was not able to get back to my weight down. After years for frustion , doctors and meds, I was able to get approved for the surgery.
I am looking forward to be able to do the things that I use to do and love. I am already off of but 5 meds now. ( it was 14 meds, twice a day).
In Dec. I weighed 238lbs and one week after surgery I am 218lbs. And would you know it I just got new pants for christmas and they won't fit, to big already. So If anyone is intrested I have 7 pairs of strech 20's, riders. some blue and some black. Just let me know.
David and I are moving back to Indiana sometime soon. He got laid off from the copper mine in morenci, az.. That is were we are from. But it won't keep me from keeping in touch.
