Ok Y'all ,I now think that having this lap-band was a bad idea. I have been up and down on the scales. I am now at 256 lbs but that after getting down to 229 lbs and then back up to 287 lbs which was what i weighed when I went to surgery, I cant stop choking, I had a fill on 10/6/09, and at that point I only had 0.6cc in my band which is why my new obesity said that had gained the weight back because I didn't have any restrictions, but in the past the most that I have had in my band was 2.0cc and I choked like hell,now she went back and put in another 1cc which now gives me 1.6cc, and I am very tight , choking off of tomato soup, butter squash soup, grapes ,scrambled eggs so what do I do now. See when I had the 2.0cc in before, I lost 10lbs in a week because I could feel water going down and it hurt and also choking  from yogurt. Now I feel like I am losing but I feel I am retaining fluids.

Well today is Jan 12th, 2007 , I'm going in to office to sign consent for surgery, and to get last minute instructions for surgery, also today is my last night at work before surgery.. Excited but really want some catfish and seasoned wings, well I have to stay strong now because surgery is TUESDAY , 4 DAYS. Thank you LORD.

After having my appointment today rescheduled for next Friday, because of my insurance, they called me and told me my insurance was ok and that my surgery was backed scheduled for the 16th of Jan!!!!!  Now I am so happy all over again, now they wanted me to come in the same day to pick up my two week liquid diet. Now this was going to be a big challenge to give up all the foods I love for liquids.

I was supposed to go in to sign consent for surgery, but "oh my god". the day before I was told that my insurance was under a different category that didn't pay for the surgery. So at this point they were trying to reschedule my surgery until Jan 25th,2007. I was so upset I went to work that same night and took my blood-pressure and you know it was elevated. The hassel of having to tell my job that my surgery was pushed back after they have already taken you off the schedule. 

Surgery date for Jan 16, 2007 and I must go in on Jan 5th, 06 to sign pre-op paperwork and get instructions for liquid diet.

On Nov 22,06  the egd results were in, ok but h.pylori foung in my stomach which is bacteria. Now more antibiotics for this.

Nov 21st, 06, I had an EGD ordered, and they took a small biopsy. Again I hope it went well. 

Some lab results were abnormal, low vitamin d, low zinc and bacteria in urine.Calcitrol, zinc and antibiotics ordered.This was on Nov 20th,06

Went in on Nov 17, 2006 for lab test ,ekg and chest x -ray, and echo. Hoping that results are normal.

On Nov 1, 2006, I was so excited to find out my surgery was APPROVED, I just constantly thanked GOD, this was when I truly saw that having faith in your life means no need to ever worry or doubt God!!!!
