Two months out 8-2010
Aug 07, 2010
Well I am just over two months out from surgery and down 62 lbs. Things are going well, I am trying to be patience with everything. The biggest issue I have is controlling the blues and depression! I am doing the shakes and the vita. I started walking this last week, hope the back pain lets up a little! I know it is still there. LOL Feeling better about myself and how clothes fit. But the emotional stuff really has me in a hole! I think my kids are liking the new looking mom but not the blues that mom has!
I love you, Eric, Nathan and Nicole!
I am trying, very hard to make it better, it will get better soon!

On the Clear Diet already!
Apr 18, 2010
Day three on the clear liquid diet, doing very well so far!
Things have been on and off for the past week or so. Things are now back on....... YEA for me!
Any suggestions for clear stuff, please help!
Have dropped 13 lbs already! and that was in the first few weeks of the no white diet, now I haven't lost anything, as far as lbs. But I am likely the part that my pants and underwear don't fit. This is my new beginning, and my children's!

WOW

Wow is it!
I was shocked. I went in for a pre-op for a different surgery, on Monday March 1st and weigh 316. On Thursday March 11th went in for my first WLC appointment and weighed the same. Had surgery on the 3rd, and at my two week (march 18th) check I was down 13lbs, just by making the changes that the WLC told me to due to help prepare for surgery!
I am still in shock, 7 days and 13 lbs later, what a difference a week makes. Bring it on!

Just had my consultation!

Just had the consult, the suggestion of the Sleeve was made by the Dr. It was either that or the Band! He was very positive about the sleeve with my injuries. Getting the weight off will defiantly help with healing! Hoping for surgery sooner then later, I am on a mission, When I walked it to that office I new that this was the best choice for me and a new me! Physically and emotionally, with great benefits for my kids (13yrs, 10yrs, 2yrs) , to have their mom back! I went shopping got some snack stuff (fresh veggie). Got home and thought to myself, I am really going to do this, and to make it even harder, with all 3 of my own children, I am living with my parent, in which has an in home daycare. Food and Snacks, seems to never end. It has been a wake up call for me and it has only been 3 days. I don't normally snack, but because they said not too and what not to eat, of course that is what I want the most!!!! I love favored water, with 0 everything. That has been my focus during the last 3 days!
I am more scared about the money then the surgery and the self control. I have no insurance, I will be self pay, just looking at the numbers! I got a loan but for only half, trying to figure out how to cum up with the rest. I haven't been able to work for more then 2 yr due to 2 car accident while I was Pregnant. I also sub stained multiple injuries, alone with an emergency c-section, a few weeks early!
I have a good support group, my 13yr son LOVES to cook, and the more I have let him cook the more he find better choices in foods, minus the once in a blue moon, homemade chicken fettuccine. He has lost 30 plus lbs. We moved in with my parents, in late Dec. My mom since Aug has lost 40 plus lbs, the best thing she is happy about is "she can cross her legs now, she doesn't even remember the last time she was at this weight, she also has diabetes. In which so do my dad, and my older brother, and I know it is just knocking at my door too.
My hope is to do everything to get these in motion as fast a possible. A New Life, A New Me, A Better Roll Model for My Children! That's ME!!!!
