"I have only had my initial consultation. Dr. Oliphant is very serious but had a funny side to him too. He made me feel very comfortable and made sure I understood the risks of the surgery and that the success of MY weight loss was up to ME. The office staff was incredible. They tried to move appointments around to benefit me which was very much appreciated. Aftercare was talked about but he said the dietician would get into more detail when I meet with her. I have friends who work at Carle hospital that assured me of his surgical competence and I will see what the bedside manner is like, hopefully before Thanksgiving 2009!"
