Stephen Louis Krasner is a 32 year old returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Ecuador. During his service from 2001-2003 Mr. Krasner established successful micro-businesses with community members, community based banking systems, and work to reduce middle men negotiators of a farming association and secured 15 new computers for the schools in town working with an international NPO. During his service many of the projects Mr. Krasner accomplished were noticed on more than one occasion by the national media in Ecuador. Two years after his service, Mr. Krasner returned to his town of service in Ecuador to find almost all of the projects he started to be very much sustained and taking a life of their own. Mr. Krasner received his college education at the University of Hartford where he received degrees in Political Science and History. In addition to his studies he served 2 terms as student body vice president, as well as president of his fraternity along with several other leadership positions within the University. After graduating college, Mr. Krasner spent roughly 5 months as a Volunteer on a Kibbutz in northern Israel and living in the Middle East. After which time he returned to his hometown area near Washington, DC and worked for some of the worlds top law firms and made an appearance on the Maryland primary election ballot as a delegate to the Democratic convention. Currently Mr. Krasner is working as a Senior Litigation Paralegal at the Law Firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld in New York. Mr. Krasner recently graduated from the Milano Graduate School, part of the New School, where he pursued an M.S. in Nonprofit Management. Currently Mr. Krasner is working on and the co-founder of a new national retail concept, with a major launch expected sometime in 2009. Mr. Krasner is married to his wife Lisa, who is a Doctor of Psychology and Professor at Westpoint. They are parents to a lovely 2 year old little girl and reside in the Hudson Valley region of New York.
