"Dr. Cox is a wonderful surgeon. From the first time I met him all the way up till now when I only see him every few months he has been a pleasure to work with! He is caring and compassionate and always seems interested in what's going on in your life. The office staff well everywhere upstairs and downstairs are a delight!!! Caring and compassionate as well, they make each visit enjoyable...even if it is going to a doctor's office. The entire staff including Dr. Cox talks openly about risks and benefits and they take great pride in their aftercare. I have been told many many times to call 24 hrs a day if I have a question or problems or anything of that nature. I would rate Dr. Cox and the Hickory SUrgical Team a 10! Anyone in my area that's even thinking about having this done should check their program out. I should be a spokesperson!! "
"The only thing about it was that the nurses woke me up a lot at night and the people that have to take your blood were annoying, but I know they were only doing their jobs!! Since I hate anything to do with hospitals anyway I guess that would seem pretty mild compared to what others have to say about hospital stays! Everyone was extremely helpful and very very nice. The nutritionist came by to see me twice which was unexpected by me and a nice surprise. My surgeon also came by several times and I thought that was nice too. "
"Dr. Thisse is not a very good person to talk to about any of this. She thinks that just because she's a doctor she knows whats best for everyone and that just isn't true. She's very short with me about helping with any aspect of this surgery and doesn't seem to care at all. I would not recommend going to her at all. I will not be back to her office. It's like as long as she gets paid then whatever for you. NOT GOOD"
