Shyam L. Dahiya

"Once again I do believe that Dr Dayhia was heaven sent.. He kind of just fell in my lap..Not only did he age with the Weight Loss Surgery progression but he actually was the chief resident to the first doctor that I had my initial Gastric Bypass with..What a small world.. Well Dr. Dayhia was great. The only reason why I gave him 7 stars instead of 10 was because of bedside manners & taking the time to actually listen to his patients,, I just felt like I had to blurt everything out before he got a chance to slip away.. And also even though technology is supposed to provide answers sometimes it isn't always right and that is when a Dr. should sit back and evaluate the situation and actually take the time to LISTEN to their patients. With that being done my hosptail stay could of been alot shorter verses almost 15 days, not incIuding the inital 3 you stay after the surgery. I do know that Dr. Dayhias' Coordinator Amelia is great. You could address any and all concerns that you have. She is always there to answer any of my questions..Even when they come to me after hours I can just send her a text and she responds almost immediately.... However I can say that when you are in his office he will address and concerns that you have. His staff is always on top of the ball."

Tri-City Regional Medical Center (COE)

"**Tri-City Hosptial, Hawaiian Gardens, Ca** Even though this was a Baractric Hospt. of Excellence.. It wasnt very accomadating for larger patients. The beds are small, and the showers are in the hallway, and those are also very tight. There wasnt even a Baratric Floor like most hosptial have, so were are surrounded by alot of sick patients.. This hosptial needs alot of TLC, needs some paint and color.. It just seems ALOT different from any other hosptail that I have been in... I must say that there were a handfull of nurses that I REALLY liked, but I could also tell that each of them did things differently which made me feel kind of uncomfortable.. There should be a protical that they should be trained on and followed the same so patients such as myse;f do not get confused."
