Good thing I am always pretty peppy. This is going to take forever, isn't it?! I am not very patient, but optomistic. I have talked to my Primary Doctor and he is backing my decision all the way! YAY!! I called and spoke to a surgeon's nurse to get extra information on the RNY and she was super excellent!! But now I'm reading into the DS and think that might be better...no dumping....in this case I would need to find a different surgeon. The surgeon I had chosen only does RNY. Dang it!!! I know there are other excellent choices out there, but I just thought the surgeon I had contact with was an amazing person and his staff was great. After weighing pros and cons, the DS is really looking more and more likely. I just want to get everything rolling and maybe, just maybe, my Christmas present will be my WLS. This would be great! Well, I'll keep blogging as the time goes by. For now, it's just one step at a time. One foot in front of the other.
