Just a quick thought............I got hit on in the laundromat last week......believe that~~~ for crying out loud. Didn't even realize it till the drive home and going over the whole thing. Geez.........flattering but hey............48 yrs married has dulled my brain I think. At least on a few subjects. LOL

Hi........well I am about half way down. I just marvel 46 lbs since this all started. Last week I took my bike for a ride, stopped to walk up the last bit of hill and fell smack over on my back in the middle of the road. No real damage just shin bone damage. Anyway, I'm laying there thinking what may be broken or what the heck. then comes the dawn. Get out of the road for crying out loud. Have to admit I was wondering about getting back to the rv and falling "up" the steps.......Anyway, I lost 3 lbs that day and think I was just trying to re-balance. Interesting. Boy is this a learning experience...........lots of trial and error. One sure learns the ropes quick when one has "an occurance". Right?

What a good day! My 2 week post op was today, and all is so good. The dietician went over things.............ONE week of puree and then on to better things just plain chewed to death. don't care, I am so excited to taste flavor once again! Then the Dr saw me and things are awesome. Good healing, low BP, and...this is good...we can leave for Az. soon. Was waiting for the elevator and who walks out of the surgical suite but Alayna. So good to see her. Just had a super duper day! ooooo did I happen to mention 30 lbs gone! tahdah.

Hi..........Oh boy, I had a 100% day yesterday! Not to be confused with the 3rd day melt down. Good grief, cried, wonder what I had done to me and also how the heck bad WAS it to be fat! Dang bad thats how. Anyway, this passed and yesterday was great. Today is heading the same way. Haven't weighed yet but am doing about 2 lbs per day for the last 2 days. All is good...........I hate the sicky sweet protein drink mix from GNC. Do they all think we CRAVE sweets? I am not a sweet person

Getting Close

Hi.............Well, all but done with the 2 week liquids. Surgery Jan. 2nd. It was supposed to be Dec. 17th and then a glitch.......not mine. Anyway I will be so glad to be done with this and move on. I've been lucky with support from my Daughter who is 1+ yrs out in the journey. Also the coffee group. What a huge thing we all have in common. I am not a person who talks about personal things to a group, but this has made me realize that maybe I've really been missing something. Anyway.......onward and upward!
