My name is Sondra and I live in Boise, Idaho. I have been overweight for the past 25 years. When I graduated from high school, I was a stocky girl, but not overweight. Then I fell in love and gained "happy" weight. I got pregnant 3 years after meeting my husband and gained about 70 pounds with the pregnancy. I had an emergency C-Section, and did take the weight off. 2 Years later I got pregnant with my second child and boom more weight. By the time I had my second child I was so overweight and dreamed of weight loss. Over the next 16 years I fluctuated with my weight and really thought I could do it all on my own. Guess I was wrong. I have now decided with the total support of my husband and children that Gastric Bypass is the right choice. I know that by doing this I am taking my first steps to a completely new life. I hope each of you will be there to share in my journey, as I take one step forward each and every day.
