Well Tonia is doing really well today. They removed her NG tube this morning and she is off the morphine, but is taking some other pain medicine. I talked to my son-in-law this morning and he said she walked again this morning and went further than last night. I'll call her later and will update again. Thanks again for all the support for my daughter.

Hi I am Tonias Mom and Tonia had her surgery this morning. She wanted me to let you all know that she doing ok and she was up and walked a little tonight. Thank you so much for all the good wishes and prayers. Jean G

Hi Tonia, I'd say don't be nervous but heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. For me the week before was harder than the week after just because I didn't know what to expect. Right after I had more soreness than pain but nothing that couldn't be managed. Remember to keep it positive. That means only positive people around you; the negative ones are just ill-informed. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,
