I have been over weight since I had my second child, in high school I was not over weight. I was approved for this surgery back in 2004, but I lost my 19 yr old son and needed to cancel. It took all these years to get myself and my family ready again. I decided to attempt this surgery again in feb 2007 and called my surgeons office. They are excellent people there walked me through the whole process again. Today 1/28/08 is my second day of my 2 week pre op diet. This part is tough but there is the reward of skinny at the end of this road. I have the support of all my family, my friends and my co workers. My sister, niece and a cousin has already been through this and boy do the look and feel good. I can't wait to be 5 weeks out.
