Hi as you have seen my name is Shonna, I am a mother of 5 ranging in age from 18 to 23. I am married to a wonderful man his name is Mike we have been married for 24 years. I stared working on getting weight loss surgery back in may, now my surgery day is going to be Monday October 6, 2008. I am ready my doctor has you on clear liquid diet for 4 days before surgery the only thing I can have that is not clear liquid is my protein drinks. So this part has been hard, I had a ivc filter put in about 2 weeks ago, I was really scared about that but it was not bad at all. I had a Heart cath, last tuesday and a EGD on Friday and now my surgery is Monday, These last few weeks have been crazy, but it will all be worth it in the long run my doctors really make sure everything is safe. I fill I am in good hands. I will update after the surgery.
11-3-2008 Well I am now 4 weeks out and down 33 lbs I fill pretty good, alittle low on energy but not bad. I fill like my weight loss has slowed. Maybe I am just in too big a hurry.
