We invite you to go read our profiles and hope it might help you in some way. We are not professional writers, but all that we wrote is true and honest. Just remember that YOU WILL SUCCEED!!! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND YOU CANNOT FAIL. We wish you all the best, a problem free surgery and recovery and a rapid weight loss. From: Doug and Nancy, SO. CALIF.

Michelle, sending you my very best wishes and asking God to bless you with an extra measure of calmness and to give you a real sense of peace in the days to come. "Waiting Mode" is the pits isn't it? I think it was the first time in years that I could find nothing else to clean in my house, & my laundry was caught up too!! (I knew I was in a bad way when my kidlings had to hide their stuff so I wouldn't wash it!) You hang in there cause even this part of the journey is well worth it. Know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello Michelle - <b>Congratulations, </b>your special day is almost here! I suspect you are experiencing a range of emotions right now. The week before my surgery I was on a natural high, almost a euphoric state of mind. I couldn't believe I was getting that "second" chance ...to LIVE life again. (I started living life again, 9 months ago and have since lost a 150 pounds, only 50 more to goal!!) I wish you all the success and happiness that comes with being healthier and thinner. Just remember your overall attitude plays a large role in your recovery, keep it POSITIVE and ask lots and lots of questions. This is a new learning experience for all of us that choose this path and we draw so much from each other. There can be a few challenges along the way, but no worse then sitting on the sidelines - confined by our overweight shells. You're about to break free, enjoy and embrace all the wonderful "moments" that come with this journey. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a successful and uneventful surgery. <i>"To grow, you must be willing to let your present and future be totally <u>unlike</u> your past. Your history is not your destiny." -- Alan Cohen </i> .....Hugs and Smiles : )
