Second Fill

I had my 2nd fill today. Just like last time it went very well. It actually took even less time than it did before. She found my port right away and it didnt hurt when she was pushing to find it. I am up to 5 cc in my 10 cc band. I didnt really feel anything right away but within the last hour or so I am starting to feel very tight. I normally feel tighter at night. I told her that and she said that it is unusual, that most people feel tighter in the morning. But then again I have never been one to be normal! 
She said just to keep notice of it and if I feels like I am to tight or cant drink water to give her a call. I am down 20 pounds now since my surgery. I am VERY happy about that. 20 pounds in 5 weeks is really good. I am also down 30 pounds since February! 
I go back in 2 more weeks to see how I am doing and if I need another fill. I hope to be able to lose another 5-7 pounds before then!

First Fill

Well I went for my first fill yesterday. I was really worried about it and had a friend who was suppose to go with me but she had something come up so she wasnt able to go with me. So I went alone which made it even more nerve wracking, but once it was all said and done I was proud of myself that I did it on my own. It wasnt as bad I thought it would be. I go in there and she came in and we talked for a little while, she asked how much water I am drinking and how much exersise I am getting and if I am taking my calcium and vitamins. Then I get up on the table and she put a pillow all bunched up under my lower back, I put my hands behind my head and did a half sit up. She pushed and pushed on my stomach to find the port and that hurt, I think that was actually the worst part of the whole thing. Then she put the needle in and had a hard time finding the port so she was moving the needle around and finally found it. I could see some saline coming into the suringe and asked if it had been filled at surgery and she said that the surgeon had put 1 cc in. She put in 3 cc or so she thought, she actually put in 4 and that was more than I was suppose to have so she took it all back out and put only 4 cc in. So now I have 4 cc in my 10 cc band! I go back in 2 weeks.
