"Dr. Vanguri is so experienced with this surgery that he put me at ease immediately. Nothing rattles him, which is great, because I rattle easily. Everytime I call his office, his staff is extremely helpful and they are always willing to fit you in if there is a problem. He does have a good aftercare program with monthly support group meetings and a once a month B-12 and consult appointment. I would recommend him to anyone considering this surgery!"

"My stay was pretty good. I wish that the nurses weren't as busy. Some of them were right on time with my pain medication (which I needed every two hours), but some of them made me wait. One made me wait an hour and a half. My roommate went looking for the nurse about 5 times. That was a singular incident though. They brought in a bariatric chair for me and that was much more comfortable to get in and out of than the bariatric bed. Everything hurt at that point so anything that made life easier was staying. It was definitely a comfortable hospital to be in and they definitely have experience dealing with this because there were about 6 other bariatric patients on my floor. I would recommend them to someone having WLS."
