Hello to everyone,
I am sure that my story is not much different from anyone else's. I had the gastric sleeve 11 days ago on 08/26/08 and I am not feeling very good. I am very nauseated and I am having a hard time with liquids only. I weighed 224lbs before surgery and I currently weigh 211lbs. I have been through 6 Invitro Fertilizations and have 2 BEAUTIFUL children as the result. Along with all of the hormones came the weight. I have been trying to have surgery for a year fighting w/ my insurance company. Of course, to no avail. I originally wanted to have bypass but settled on the gastric sleeve for monetary reasons. I was so prepared for this journey, but upset that I have already hit a rock. Looking for a brighter day!!!! I know that it is right around the corner.
