"I still go to this hospital whenever I need something done. Tests, bloodwork etc... I do not think that will ever change considering it is hard to find half caring medical care. When you actually find wonderful medical care you don't walk away from that."
"My first impression of Dr. Gruneiro was he was laid back sort of shy. After going to a Group meeting I learned it was that he listened rather than spoke and was very well informed. The staff I have dealt with was amazing; I will say that patient courteousy with their office is very key. I have not found anything wrong with the doctor that would not allow him to continue to be just that. I may write an extraordinary piece on the doctor and his staff and then one bad incident will affect what I have written. All I say to that is everyone involved is human. Never forget that we all make mistakes and nothing is one hundred percent. But as long as you abide by your doctor and his program there will leave very little room for mishap. He emphasizes the importance of aftercare one hundred and ten percent. There is a guide line written out for you to follow and given to you very early in the program. It becomes your second bible so to speak. Dr. Gruneiro always made sure that I knew the risks of the surgery and asked me continouosly if I had any concerns, that made me feel very comfortable. I could not rate him on a number scale because how do you rate a person that was blessed with a gift by the man above with helping to change so many lives? As far as giving an answer on which is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or both great? You can have a master surgeon good at his craft and horrible at his people skills. I would not want him touching me. You could have a surgeon fair at his craft and awesome at his bedside manner... Me personally would say a prayer and put my life in the hands of the person who cared about who I was and what I felt regarding the entirety. As for having both that would be great but realistically there's no such thing as perfection. rn"
