Carolyn, Congratulations on getting your revision approved. I had a revision in July 02, VBG to RNY. My original VBG was in 1995. The loss has been slower than some of the brand new post-ops, but I have managed to lose 65-70 in the last 7 months and I plan on losing 20-30 more by my one-year anniversary. I am very happy with it – at least the scale is moving down and not up. I think you will do very well, but your surgeon just wanted you to know the possibility of a slower loss is there. Good Luck.
