So Im finding that I miss food a little, but no where near as much as I miss drinking and eating at the same time!!!  It is so hard to have to sit here 30-45 min AFTER eating to only be able to SIP something to drink... I cant even gulp.  How annoying is that?!  Just wanted to vent about this for a sec...  =)

So Im sitting here 6 weeks out and Im feeling better and better about myself.  Im struggling like everyone with temptations of food but, other than that...lol I feel so good about myself!  I have lost so many inches... I can tell when I look in the mirror.  Im wearing jeans and pants I was not able to fit in.  I just feel so darn good!  The only thing is I know im going to have hanging skin...  bad.  I can tell already.  I just have that kind of skin.  So Im thinkin maybe my insurance will cover the cost of a tummy tuck and arm tuck ( if thats what its called for the arms? )  Im already starting to get irritations under the skin... itchy itchy really bad... so im still using my powder tricks... gross i know, but ya gotsta do what ya gotsta do right? 

I have one thing Im worried about tho.  I lost my job 3 months before WLS and i dont have the extra funds to go see my doc like Im suppose to.  It sucks.  I cant afford 20 bucks a month for a visit... After the holidays Im looking forward to finding out if I have a job at CDW.  IM PRAYING...  friends keep your fingers crossed for me please!!!  

So thats it... Im not an avid Blogger but I think I should start cause it feels good to just get my thoughts out in the open?  hmmm...  Maybe...

I dont even feel like i had WLS... Except for getting full faster.  weird

I am so excited!  I have 5 more days to go...  Liquid diet is going good...  hard.  but good.  i need coffee tho, i love coffee, so i bought splenda for when im allowed to drink a cup... sip a cup i mean...lol 

Wow... ok, This is my first blog!  Actually ever.  So Ill be having to get used to this...  My name is Serena.  I am 37 yrs old and I have been pondering this surgery for about 5 years now.  And now my date is set. Sept 21, 2009.  Im not scared at all, Just excited.  Im very resilliant when it comes to surgery... I bounce back with the quickness.  Im married, I have 4 kids that range from 19 to 2 years of age.  Starting a new job and getting rid of old baggage cause the new me is coming very SOON!  I have issues just like any other... Money mainly...lol surprise surprise!  But some how we make it work.  Im glad my friend Lulu introduced me to this site.  You will be hearing from me much more!  Thanks Lourdes! <3
