Two days ago my husband measured me and I have lost 6" more.

Then today I decided to get on the scales and I was 261.8.  So I guess the scale is moving.

That  makes   40 lbs gone and 30 inches gone.

Chest: 49 inches
> Waist: 46 inches
> Hips: 53 inches 
Neck 16 inches
Upper Arm 17.5 inches
Wrist 6.5 inches
Thigh 27inches


Slowly shrinkin.

Have lost 3 more lbs.  Down to 265.  One day I was 264.4 but have maintaned at 265.  Attempting too practice patience.  Tried on pants in my closet and removed a dozen pair.  Don't feel soo bad.  I need something visual to make it real.  My mind really messes with my weight loss.  People tell me I look thinner but I just to discount it.  

Got to practice what I preach.

Well, it is 2 weeks today.  My scale is stuck at 268.8 but I have lost 24 inches total since I started this journey (11/07 to present.)  I was able to get into 18/20 pants, night gown and jammies.  I loved that.  I go to get my staples out on Wednesday and boy am I ready.

I received a call today from Lisa at Dr. Weaver's office.  I am going to have my pre-op testing done for surgery on Monday morning (3/10/08).  More of those DARN needles.  They better have a good STICKER this time.

I was told Dr Weaver had a 2 pg order waiting for me.  Blood Work, EKG, and Chest Xray.

Also, began my liver shrink yesterday.  It was hard as I had school, which made it a long day, image I was also going thru withdrawals from sugar and caffeine, but got thru it.  Today was a little easier.

12 more days until the big date...welcoming my new baby.

I have a date with Dr Weaver on 3/19/08.  I am so excited.  I am continuing to fill my hope chest.  I am gathering information from all those in front of me on what to take to the hospital.

I start my liver shrink on Wednesday.

Dr Weaver was very accomodating for this date, as I will be on Spring break from school and this will be great.  I won't miss any classes.

Decided to  check my measurements today.  Since Kat measured me in November I have lost:

Well, here I am waiting for the surgery date.  I will see Dr. Weaver on 2/21/08 for the actual date.  I am hearing others getting surgery dates  moved up so I hope when I go in February I don't have to wait for months for the actual surgery.

In the mean time, I am building my "hope chest" of goodies I will get into sometime during my loosing days.  Talking to others about the feelings they go thru before during and after.  

Have lost 10 lbs since my first visit with the Nutritionist in November 07.  Have been substituting my breakfast meal with a protein shake, to rehearse what it will be like.  

Meeting new friends on the forum, and am going to Montgomery Bell Park this Saturday to meet some of individuals who are organizing the Weight Loss Surgery retreat.  Can't wait.
