Here I go! After many years of failed dieting, soul-searching and research I took the first step and completed my first set of appointments on June 11, 2013. The appointments lasted all morning but were as helpful to me as they were informative to the doctor's. I've been cleared for the next step in my journey.
June 13 - Completed the sleep study last night. It was interesting to wear the equipment and thankful that I have not developed sleep apnea.
June 14 - Second set of appointments confirmed! Yay! 6/26/13, I meet with the physical therapist, dietician and bariatric doctor. Will need to complete a six month supervised diet in order to obtain approval from insurance. Nothing but excited. Bring it on!
