Well it has been awhile since I last updated it has now been 1year and 2 days since surgery and I am now down 95 lbs from a size 22 to a size 8 just bought new shorts today and could not believe I got into a size 8 haven't been that small since I was 17. Feeling good little bit of sagging skin but I would do it all over again to feel this good. Just being able to walk around the block without huffing and puffing is wonderful. Going for my 1 tear check up on the 9th hopefully good news.

5 months post op lost 63 lbs everyone says they can't believe how great I look feeling good seems like I am eating more than I use to but still loosing. SF pops are my favorite food now.

Well its been an interesting road thus far, can't complain actually except for a little ulcer that flared up about a month ago. Few meds and I am good as new. Down 49.5 lbs now gone from a 22 to a size 16. Feeling so much better with so much more energy I should have done this years ago. Going for my 3 months check up in the am so its off to bed for me. Its me again its been a while but I am doing fine lost total of 37 lbs doesnt seem to be going fast enough for me but Doctors say they are fine with the loss. About 2 weeks ago developed an ulcer saw Dr Byrne and he put me on Nexium and Carafatte much better now says this sometimes happens after surgery. Everyone says they can tell a big difference in my looks my clothes are getting bigger and I feel better but again one day at a time. My next checkup is on July 6th will update then.

Its Friday night and it seems weird not going out to dinner I cook for my family and I am still on pureed and liquids. Cheese seems to go down smoothly with no problems. I just feel like I have on a pair of jeans too tight in the waist all the time now must be the staples. No problems it almost seems too easy right now I lost 13 lbs in six days they weighed me on Tuesday with my first Doctors appt. the drain is out thank God and I feel like a new person My family seems impressed and my daughter is now doing situps and watching her intake scared I may become smaller than her!!! Oh well one day at a time I do seem to be less patient than I was before and it seems like it takes everybody forever to do anything around me must be the hormones. Till next time....

04/03/06 It's Monday and what a difference a day makes. I am feeling much better still have that nasty JP drain but it comes out tomorrow and trust me 10am can't get here fast enough. I did good today I got in a protein shake and some cream of chicken soup. I even cooked for my family and didnt taste a thing and didn't want to. That is something for me. Oh well lets hope its good news from here on out.

Well I made it. It is Sunday and I am starting to feel better. I can't wait to get this JP drain out hopefully tomorrow. I am having trouble getting all my protein down but since it is so early I am doing what I can But I can't believe how fast I get full. My biggest problem is getting my meds down I am taking one day at a time right now. Feeling kind of down right now hope this feeling changes soon.
