Today is April 24 and my lap band surgery with Dr. Teel is scheduled for May 23.  I'm nervous but ready.  Unfortunately, my husband does not want me to do this, but he accepts that I want to do it.  He is so afraid of something bad happening to me.  I used to be more afraid, but after going to the support group earlier this month, I felt much better and more informed.  You can look up all kinds of information but until you hear it from a "real" person, it is not the same.  I am hoping my husband will come to the May support group with me so that he will feel better as well.
