May 12, 2007- I went to Dr. Gellers seminar! I weigh a whopping 280!!
May 24, 2007-I turned in all of my paperwork! I can't wait to get that phone call saying I have my first appointment. I believe this will be the longest few months before actually having surgery of my entire life!!
May 29, 2007- It seems like an enternity since I turned in my paperwork! (O.K. more like 5 days) I have cut down on my soda drinking and am trying to stop smoking, so that when I do have my first appointment I will have some things accomplished. I have been drinking a lot of water and green tea- Although I do miss my soda! I just wish my phone would ring!!!
June 7, 2007- Well I finally got ahold of Denise at Dr. Allen's office, she is still processing packets-sigh! She told me that someone should be calling me next week to make my first appt., yeah!! I can't wait until I am able to get that first appt. the wait is driving me insane!
June 11, 2007- Well the call finally came-I have my psy and nut evals on June 22nd!! Yeah Me! I'm so excited, one step closer to getting that surgery date!
June 19, 2007- I am absolutely bummed! I have to reschedule my eval appts. that was scheduled for this Friday-I don't have the $100.00 program fee until after the first of the month-that sucks! However, I did set a goal for myself to start walking every day until I am able to walk 1 mile in 15 mins. Hopefully, I can do this and move to 2 miles by the end of July. It just sucks because I really want this surgery and this is something that is putting me behind my goals in my weight loss journey! One more pitfall but not a complete loss! I will have the money and will be able to get things moving after the first of July!!
June 26, 2007- OK this sucks!!! Is this month ever gonna end? It seems like a life time ago that I had to reschedule my evals! 14 more days- This is cruelty!! I can only imagine the wait to actually have the surgery-Oh wait I already do imagine it-daily!!!LOL- I guess I didn't get fat over night so I guess I won't get my appointment over night either-I hate reality!!LOL
June 28, 2007- I joined the Labor Day Challenge- I want to loose 10-20 pounds by Labor Day. Course my goal is to have surgery before then, but if not I would like to loose that before surgery! Challenge starts on July 2nd!
July 2, 2007-Well today is the first day of the LDC-I weighed this morning and weighed 275.5 even after tom visiting last night! So maybe I can get the 10-20 pounds off before I have surgery! Well course I still have to get that date- Only 8 more days before my evals appointments! Yeah-I can't wait-one more step closer to getting the first appt. w/Dr. Geller!
