I am back and not feeling too well. Being in Tx was challenging with the eating out everyday! Mostly Tex Mex and Mexican cuisine:(
But I'm back on track and glad to be home. Waiting for better weather to walk. My sisters thought I looked terrific..NEAR the 100 LB mark!!!!

I am much better, but really do not know what to eat. I have figured out if i snack during the day, I will NOT throw up dinner. Sound familar? I am open to any suggestions as to what are good snacks and dinners(really hard)!
Also, I have not started exercising. I hate it! But I bought a stepper for Christmas and need to get on it. I will start walking, but Chicago weather won't allow for it.

went today 11/21/08 for an EGD and yes thanks to some of you found out MY stricture was 1 cm and should have been 10 cm! I saw the picand after 8 weeks i could have been malnutritioned. I have been living on shakes and water! I couldn't even be put "under" because my HR was so low to begin with.
So, all the vomiting and food not staying down hopefully will end.

Went to my surgeon and he says it is all normal...no stricture, he thinks. Guess I have to stay on solid liquids and soups. All i can tolerate now. I am going to strt a diary of what I eat, but am still tired and weak. I am trying to walk but it is freezing here(in chicago) Sooo...he said I'm not ready for exercising too much! Ok...wanted to update this and am glad it is possibly not a stricture!

I am still throwing up. I purchased papaya enzymes and tried them. Also, my nut suggested hot liquids 20 mins before my meal. I just tried about 1/4 cup chili and really threw up after the papaya enzymes.
I am going to call my MD about the stricture being closed. I have been advised by a few of you. TY Ty

I am getting sick everytime I EAT FOOD..I throw up "frothing" I am barely eating. I do get in 2 protein shakes a day! (46 g protein) But the food isn't going well. I need a good B complex any suggestions? The liquid one I had was horrible!!!!!!!! Can you take Tums for Calcium?

now i am throwing up and "frothing" I am getting depressed! I should be able to eat soft foods, but it only seems to be when I first get up....and it is like a mucous. Any suggestions? I called my nutritionist she wasn't in.

Today is almost one month post op.10/24/08 I was "set back" due to an infection 10/6/08-10/12/08. I am weaning into soft foods. I am having a hrd time getting around this site too. Can't get my pic on my profile...says it is too big. how do you make a blog with a background. suggestions please help!
