I haven't written in a long time. I have been so busy with everything going on. I had my surgery on March 17,2008. It went pretty smooth, excet I gave myself a panic attack in the OR when they stuck the oxygen on, and I actually felt like I stopped breathing. Within seconds ( It felt like ) I was in recovery. I was up and walking, and home by 7pm that night. So far its been 6 weeks, and im down 46lbs. I was able to actually by a $14 pair of jeans at a normal store instead of an $80 pair from lane bryant. I have not had a fill yet, and I feel perfectly fine. Full after about a cup, and doing good. Still trying to regain some energy, but Im sure that will come with time.

Well after 2 months and 3 appeals, I finally have an approval and a date. March 17th. My insurance company overturned the denial 3 days ago, and I still keep calling them to make sure it is real. I just can't believe that all this hard work is finally paying off....Now I am getting excited and nervous about the surgery all at the same time.

Well, its almost that time. Jan 2nd will be my first meeting with my new PCP, where he will then tell me if I can have a referral for the surgeon. I hope hope hope all goes well. I ca hardly wait to get aproved, have surgery, and start getting healthy!
