"Dr. Medick is the psychologist @ Dr. Wood's office. He was extremely knowledgable about the micro-pouch surgery and the follow-up I will be required to follow post-op. He gave lots of valuable information. He was very thorough in finding out about my diet and family history, to help me better understand why I am overweight. I also liked that he was an associate of Dr. Wood's so he better knew what Dr. Wood was looking for in a psych eval and a potential patient."

"Staff was wonderful and always willing to help (with the exception of a couple aides). The care during the night could of been better...there was three of us in one room (all had gastric bypass on the same day) and we all had different nurses (don't know why????) and so it seemed like there was always staff coming and going in and out of the room to do routine care or to answer a light. Otherwise it was a nice stay!!"

"I have not met Dr. Wood yet. My consult with him is scheduled for 4/24/02 ~ but I have read nothing but good/great things about him. His office staff have all been incredible, getting my insurance approval and making all appointments for me. They even scheduled my psych eval. Will update after my consult. God Bless!! 4/25/02 I met Dr. Wood yesterday for my initial consult with him ~ and all I can say is WONDERFUL!!! He explained the surgery, including a drawing, went over risks and complications and was very honest and to the point. He is very competent and professional and has this adorable smile that makes you feel very at ease. I couldn't of asked for a better surgeon!!"
