Today is my first blog entry ever. Yesterday I finished reading the book Before & After. It was a great book and motivational. In the book I learned about this website. I am so happy there is a tool like this one out here for those of us who are thinking about, going to have, or already have had bariatric surgery. I will be having the Y En-Route surgery on Tues July 17th. My husband and I are going through a divorce. He moved out Sunday April 29th so he could start dating my best friend. He carries my health insurance so I live in constant fear that he will cancel my coverage before I get my surgery. I am at a point that I don't know what I would do if I couldn't have surgery. It seems like the only option I have left. I have already tried everything else.
My plans for the day are to take my kids shopping for clothes. Pick up some boxes to pack up the rest of my husband's things. I am also planning on packing all the crap food in the house and sending it with him. We don't need it here. Other plans for the weekend are to clean up the back yard and take the kids to see Shrek Third. Now that my husband and are separated and he is dating my best friend, my life is completely different. My best friend was the only friend I had and my life revolved around my husband. I need to meet new people and make new friends. I have to step outside of my box, but I don't know if I am ready for that yet. I guess it will all come in time. Once I get healthy again I will have plenty of time for everything.
