 Hello all...it's beena minute since I have been on here posting.  I hae quite a few wow moments, but just to think a year ago for my birthday I was at 264lbs. Five months after that I began my new life, eight months from that I am 100#'s down.  I started off in a size 20/22 pants, 3X top, 10 shoe, 9 panties and 42I bra.  I am currently sporting a 15 in Juniors or 12/L in pants, L top,  9 shoe, 7panties and a 36DD bra.  Geez, it's been a busy 8 months.  Yes, I have had my obstacles, with a set back of a Pulmonary Embolism, passing out at park due to dehydration, then back in October I fell and seperated my shoulder.  Well I have truly been excited.  the funny part is I get so bashful when people compliment me.  What better way to bring in my birthday showing off the new and improved new me.  My kids love me, my sweetie loves me, my mom loves me and most importantly I love me as well as God.  Thank you Jesus for allowing me another chance at life!!!!

Hello everyone it's been awhile since I  have posted anything.  Summer hit and my children lives picked up and with the wonderful weight loss I have been able to keep up with them...go Figure.  Well at 17 weeks out I have lost a total of 67lbs...  I have been doing really great, no problems, still on my blood thinner for the blood clot I had after surgery.  I had one episode where my body locked up because I didn't have enough fluids or electrolytes in me but by the Grace of God I made it through. 

I started off my weight loss journey wearing a size 20/22 pants & tops, size 10 shoe and 42I bra (yes that is a I).  Currently I am in a size 14 bottom and some M/L tops, size 9 shoe...wow moment is when I went to get a bra for my class reunion and they measured me...drum roll********36DDD WTHeezy. I was overjoyed but upset because it was hard to find the bra I needed.  But I am enjoying every bit of my journey.

I get a text every week asking my results from love ones and friends.  The support has been out of this world from everyone especially my co-workers.

The moment of truth that brought me to break down in tears...It was last Friday, I came home from the beauty salon getting my hair and nails done for my class reunion meet & greet, my two year old daughter me I was pretty, awww thank you.  My other children kept looking at me funny. Ok, so I didn't ask any questions because I was scared of the response. After I got dressed, one of my twins looked at me and hugged me he said mommy you are sooo gorgeous. Ok, this is when the tears rolled and I couldn't stop the flow.  And that whole weekend I had so many compliments I didn't know  what to do, I was blushing so hard.  That is a weekend I won't forget.  I have posted my pics take a look.

Hello everyone sorry I have been MIA since surgery, but it's been a long road. Well I am officially on the loser bench.  I had my surgery on April 2, 2010, my new birthday.  Surgery went very well, but because my spinal cavity was too small for an epidural.  So after surgery I was in excruciating pain. They kept me heavily sedated on diloted (sp?) so I was bedridden (BAD).  I was discharged five days later.  Came home and 24 hours later re-admitted for PE...I had a blood clot in my lungs.  I continue was just discharged today and I doing well.  I did develop seroma? and my doctor took care of that right when I was discharged. I am now on Coumadin for 6 months.  GO figure.  But God has been good through it all, he has brought me through and blessed the doctors to find the clot before some more serious damages or even death.  

My friends have asked me have I felt any different in weight, yes I have lost.  The funny part is I noticed in my legs, my fingers and thighs first, the other spots hmmm, don't know.  My highest weight is 260 lbs, Surgery weight 248 (after 1 week liquid diet), day re-admitted 248 and today I am at 238 22lbs lost total so far....So I am going to sign off and get some rest but before I go I have to say thank you to a couple of people that has been there for me these last two weeks: laceylynn123, jjpink1, Star Jones and thank you Fervent4Jesus for your visit, it was well appreciated and cherished.

Well my day is here tomorrow this time I will be in my room recovering on the loser side.  I am scheduled for surgery at 7:30 am EST. I would like to thank all of the many people on here for the wonderful advice, support, friendship and laughter.  I don't think I would be making this journey if not for you all. Once again thank you and God Bless You all!  I ask that all keep me in your prayers and will update when I can...love you all my OH family.

Ok, I am like 3 days away from surgery and I am nervous as all get out.  I try to keep my mind elsewhere but it just seems to wonder back to nervousness.  I am suffering from a severe headache,that my PPO says is my nerves and stress.  I wll be later, but please please please keep me in prayer to whatever mighty God you serve!!!!! 

OK, so enroute to the hospital for pre-op I got a little nervousand forgot where to go when I got there.  So I called the office and they talked me through...lol! SO I park and walk in to outpatient registration, they direct me to the third floor.  All I can say was the hospital was a maze good thing for signs. After arriving to third floor I proceed down hallway to Pre-Surgical Testing.  The young lady met me and said that Tommie will be with me in a minute. So while waiting, here comes a middle age, 5'1 lady who greets me with a smile (ok so where is Tommie) and say Hello Cherise I will be right with you. Ok so her name is Tommie...cute lil lady with a country accent.   MY turn and we proceed to exam room, she weighs me I weigh in at 260lbs (this will be my weight that I will start with). She takes my blood pressure, temp, and she does my EKG.  While waiting on the Anestesiologist Dr. Clark, she takes calls her sidekick down. She does history, and Tommie stops and looks at me and states...my love you are  so healthy compared to others and you are gonna do awesome because you do not look like you are over 200lbs and don't have much to lose....AAAAAAWWWW!  As she takes my blood, she said that she is batting for 1000 because she got me on the first poke and her other patient was over 600lbs and she got his.  She says usually when they are that large it's harder to find a vein.  Well we talked about dogs, bras and kids. She is so funny with the bras as she was doing my EKG she looked at my bra and was like that is soooo beautiful a hot pink bra and it comical after that.

As the Nurse is doing my physical she looks at my EKG and says that is the first normal EKG I have seen in years.  Ok, that is a great thing for me. The handsome Dr. Clark comes in, the nurse moves over for him to do his thing. He asks me a couple of questions and says I will see you in surgery.  But before you go I have a some questions...yes, I had to know about spinals I am totally afraid of them because I have spinal headaches and have had to have blood patches.  He states to me yes, I can see why you're scared.  He promised everything will be alright.  Ok, Dr. Clark I am holding you to this.  So I got the seal of approval and they sent me for xray of chest and I am on my way.

I am scheduled for my pre-op appointment this Friday @ 9:30 a.m.  I get to have all the exciting test done, blood work, EKG, stress test( and whatever else they deem necessary) But I am ready for it so bring it on.  I also have @ 1:00 on this Friday my appointments with my nutritionist & dietician.  How great, they worked together so i wouldn't have to take more days off work.  I love my doctor staff.
 But on a new note, y was I in Target to get my daughter some pullups and I inadvertently ended up in the Misses section of the store.  They must have had some type of force field because by the time I finished browsing the clothes I had been there an hour.  Oops off to the children section...lol.  Anywho, I think I am getting overwhelmed with last minute preparations for myself as well as my children & home. Keep me in your prayers.

Ok...I am like totally excited...God is Goood all the time and all the time he is good.  AMEN!  HaHA, I went for Pschy eval and passed it.  I went in to see my doctor for medical eval, he told me to come back the end of this month and we will do all the blood work and EKG so i can be ready for May. Ok that's when I wanted to have my surgery.  Well I get a call last Tuesday from Sara, and she tells me I am all set will be hearing from scheduling department soon(umm what happened to my March appt). The doc sent over my paperwork with his approval.   Well I forgot to take my H. Pylori test off to the hospital I go for my test. The next day another call from Sara...Ok Cherise we are all set.  Here we go people...who would have thought that Thursday I get a call from Noelle stating she has March 19 or 26th available. How excited I was but had engagements both weekends. Low and behold I wanted to wait for May.  Well today out running errands for my job.  Noelle calls again, so finally I break down and ask her about my surgery and me traveling.  She explained everything to me....so drum roll please. My surgery date is set for Friday, April 2...Woot Woot! It will be official tomorrow when the doctor confirms. WOW people...hahaha, my co-workers are already asking for my clothes. How funny is that!

Ok so I went for my Evaluation last Wednesday.  Sometimes I think they need to talk to somebody... So I walk in this gloomy cold office with a desk, a chair and dim light. For real I was walking into solitude. I look around and there are 3 doors...door #1 door #2 or door #3. Out pops this tall medium size gray(white) hair woman. She has this freaking scarry tone, Ms. Rushing I presume.  Now I am in the tomb of Frankenstein.  I keep my composure, of course, it's door #3. Sit down(don't relax) this is funny.  We start talking why did I have to stop and ask her is she confused...lol! Sorry that was funny. Who's suppose to be getting evaluated here. First of all I was trying not to fall asleep. How many siblings, were you raised in a single family, do you want kids(lol...lady I have five)? Wow, do you get any sleep? yes, when they do. Moving on, Were you abused sexually, physically, mentally? Wow, finally last question what kind of weight loss have you tried? Huh...ok move on to T/F questions. Whew!  Ok, wasn't ready for this,needless to say it was the longest 40 minutes I have ever seen without falling asleep.  But could someone answer me y did the test try to fool me asking me about my faith in God and Savior. I was baptised in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit(Ghost).  I know my father will never leave me or fakesake me.  I walk by faith. Sorry, I guess they thought I was gonna change me answer...duh it's in God's hand. 

LOL...sorry for rambling on the reason for this was to say I just got a call from Sara @ Dr. Hares offfice, I passed my Pschy Eval...and I got for medical clearance Wednesday. I know my doctor will clear me, he was the one that suggested it.

Ok, I scheduled my appointment for my Pschy Eval it's next Wednesday.  Ok, I hope they don't figure out that I am seriously a bonefide looneylol...Anywho, what I need help with is setting my surgery date.  I have alot going on so I need help from my fellow losers.  I stop bowling the last Saturday in April, so I was thinking of setting my surgery for the first week of May. However I was told to wait until after my trip to Vegas which is May 30th to June 2. But I would be 4 weeks post op. I would do it the first week in June but would I be recouped enough for my kids birthdays.. June 14, 19 & 26. But definately want the surgery before my class reunion the last weekend in July......HELPPPPPPPPPPPP!
