Surgery Date is Set!

My surgery date has been set for Monday October 27th. I am very excited but all was almost derailed when I had another cellulitis outbreak. It put me in the hospital for four days, but with the proper medication I am doing much better and should be completely recovered by the surgery date. I am halfway through the liquid diet period and it is much harder than I thought it would be. Starting tomorrow I will be on a 100% liquid diet for the final week before surgery. I am very excited and ready to get going!!!

I have finally been approved for my surgery. I have spent all spring and summer getting from 589 lbs down to 500 where the doctor can safely do the surgery. I am meeting with Dr. Edwards on Tuesday morning to set a surgery date. I am so excited to know this is really going to happen!!
