... and I'm feeling good

Feb 07, 2012

So the scale finally gave me a number starting with the infamous "1" this weekend   and so far this week I have had  about 13 different people I work with give me amazing compliments, what a week!  I can handle being on the losers bench for sure. Ordered myself, *I mean my husband* a 50' - 2" battle rope for Valentines day. Going to be great to have something else to switch up the workout! Hope things are going good for you too!

New Year!

Jan 03, 2012

New Year Resolution is to continue improving the food & the exercise... but seeing how much energy I have, think I might just keep going with other things too.  Like the home improvement projects that I have been putting off.  I see a home depot visit in the near future!
Downloaded Pandora on my phone. Plug that in to the stereo and it helped with the boredom that comes with the time on the eliptical. When you don't already know what song is going to play next it help the time pass.  Before I realized it I had put in an hour which had been a goal. Love it! I struggled with 15 minutes prior to WLS. I'll take that progress AND MORE! Hope all is well with you, keep up the good work!

turning point

Dec 11, 2011

When I stepped on the scale this weekend I was thinking "Nice! Down 5 lbs!". Then today I updated my health tracker...   I AM half way to goal, its been 8 weeks! Never did I prepare myself for these awesome results.
Years of having low expectations so that I wouldn't be dissapointed protected the fat me! That needs to change   because that fat chick is going away, pratically gone already!

2 weeks from today!

Sep 28, 2011

Its getting so close! I'm getting excited to get the surgical part behind me and join the losers bench. Goal for the next 2 weeks is the couple projects I have been putting off.
*I want to go thru the Rubbermaid's of clothes I have and organize them, fat on top, smaller on the bottom. This way as I lose it will be easy to see what might be available to wear.
*Need to work in the yard, prepare for winter, since I will be down for the count for a couple weeks as far as yard work goes. *We are replacing our furnace next weekend, so there goes our spare bedroom (that serves as the family walk-in closet). It will be a wreck that will need to get put back together in 2 days.
*Not to mention preparing and freezing meals for the family.
Agh... so much to do, but its so worth it!
