Rosa, I know you're scared. I think it's a normal reaction. I was petrified when I had my surgery. I was 29 mother of 3 small children and having marital problems. I came up with all sorts of excuses to cancel and then came up with the best reason of all to go through with it ME! I'm a much better wife and mother healthier and happier. I had my surgery almost 1 year ago and I'd do it every 6 months if I had to just to keep what I've gained. It's a personal decision but it's an awesome journey. Do your research and pray. Rosie, I started thinking about this process a few years ago and finally got serious in March 04. I was very scared, worried and basically not doing it for the right reasons, health etc. I learned that I had to come to that point in my life where I was ready to take control instead of letting my body control my life. I am very very happy with my decision. My surgery is scheduled for 08/12/04. I am a single mother of 4 and I will do this not for them but for me. I am very scared but with the good Lord above I can accomplish anything. I wish you luck on your journey to a better life. Donna

Rosie....Hey Girl Wassup? I am so glad that you are considering classes again. I think that you should go through all the steps and when you get to the end right before surgery, you can make that final decision. I am here for you girl and if I may, I want to be your Angel. I will help you every step of the way and if you need someone to hold your hand all the way to San Diego I'll be there. Dont do it cuz you want to please your husband....do it to please yourself and most important ..... for your health. See you on the losing side and lets start walking for sure. Love Ya!
