O.K. So I have lost 60lbs. so far. I can so feel it. Very happy with results. When I went for my 2 week post-op I had lost 48lbs. My doctor was pleased with everything.

Surgery day: Went in for open RNY at 10:20am. They finished at 5:00pm. Took gallbladder out, done bioipies of liver, repaired a bellybutton hernia. Stayed in ICU till next day. I really do not remember this. Wife says that the first night in hospital everything went very well. Vitals were good.

12/25/2008- Came home. Long 3 hour drive home.  My girls opened their xmas gifts. Still didn't remember much about that day. I am sleeping in a recliner. Very uncomfortable. Lots of pain. Slept alot.

12/26/2008- I did get in 52 grams of protien. Some ice chips. Litttle pudding and little jello. Just not hungry. I have NO nausea. Thats good. No bowel movement?? Some gas.

12/28/2008- Last night I was able to sleep in bed and even rolled over on side a couple of times. Not as tired today like I have been. Had first BM last night. Then again this morning. Thats good! Did not take any stool softner.
