I've always been average, weight-wise. I lost about 25 pounds when I entered the military in 1996, and managed to stay in the 130s until my first pregnancy in 1998. I gained a whopping 98 pounds, but lost it all with the help of my Army PT program. However, after I left the service, I gained quickly, up to 188 pounds. I managed to lose about 18 in weight watchers, only to get pregnant again.
My second pregnancy was the start of my downward spiral. I was over 200 pounds during the pregnancy, and did nothing but gain since. I've gone back to weight watchers to lose about 20 or 30 pounds, only to gain it back and then some. I've also ried the zone and south beach. I also tried over-the-counter pills, and very low calorie diets like Medifast. Everything worked to an extent, but nothing stuck. I've always been a bit lax on exerices, but I'm active in that I take dance and walk my dogs daily. Also, when we lived in Hawaii, I surfed and kayaked...nothing seemed to make any amount of weight come off, so now I'm done...I need this to be healthier for mysef, my family, and my future!
