John S. Oldham, Jr.

"What was your first impression of him/her? He was very open and informative.rnHow did your impression change over time? Not at allrnHow would you describe his/her office staff? rnThey were all friendly and nice, however the office is new in Elizabethtown, KY and in transition, I didn't feel like I was getting the attention I should have. I came to them ready to go in January 2009, only lacking insurance approval which once sent only took 30 days. But I didn’t have my surgery until June 29th 2009. It was my impression that they were overwhelmed and under staffed.rnrnOn a scale of 1-10 rnI'd rate Dr Oldham: 10rnThe office staff: 9rnAnd my over all experience: 9"

Hardin Memorial Hospital

"I have lived in Hardin for about 15 years and have not had much experience dealing with HMH besides a visit or two to the emergency room. However in the past two months I've had several appointments for testing at the hospital as well as my surgery. I am VERY glad there is a section here to comment on your hospital. On May 29th I had an appointment at 8:30 for full day of pre op testing for surgery. It was a long day of several different types of testing. From the moment I walked in until I walked out (at 3:00) everyone was VERY friendly, professional and helpful. I was always walked from one test to another by staff at the previous area and introduced to the next. After my lab work was done they sent me home, when I arrived at home (15 minutes later) there was a message on my answering machine. Apparently the lab had sent me home prematurely, I had one more test that needed to be done and the lady advised that if I would return to the hospital there was still time to have it done that day. Upon my return they got me right in for my test. While I was having the test done the receptionist for that area came in and gave me a $10 gift card for a local gas station to reimburse me for the extra trip and wasted gas. My surgery at MHM outpatient surgical center was equally enjoyable. Upon arrival with my Girlfriend Mother and Father we were all greeted by the receptionist and my people were given a pager. It was explained that if there was any info or change in my status they would be paged and someone was on their way to speak with them. When I left they gave me a well wishes card that was signed by all the staff who had participated in my surgery that day. To make a long story short and to surmise my experience at HMH. I, my girlfriend, (Rebekah) mother (Joyce) and father (Ramon) would like to give the staff at HMH a heart felt THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. "
