Peter Fedorka
"I feel so fortunate to have had Dr. Fedorka as my surgeon. He is a Kaiser doctor, which I really like, because he does what he does because he believes in it and is not in it for the numbers or the profit margin. We hit it off from our first meeting as he enjoys some of the same rock bands I like. He was very thorough in my exam and ordered some additional tests as he suspected there might be a problem with my heart. The CT scan did reveal a heart problem and he discussed it at length during our second meeting. He had reviewed my case with a cardiologist, which increased my confidence in him and in having the surgery. His his nurse Gigi was such a nice person and was very helpful. When I went in to the hospital I was terrified about what was going to happen. Dr. Fedorka met me in pre-op and was very soothing and calming. He even went so far as to have one of my favorite Metallica songs playing in the operating room as they wheeled me in. After the surgery he checked in on me often, and was not only pleasant and caring to me, but was exceptional with my family as well (which can be rather large, loud and obnoxious in a good way!). I really can't say enough good things about him and would encourage anyone lucky enough to have him as a surgeon to go forward with the surgery."
