"11/20/00 Haven't met him yet. Have consult on 12/5, will let you know!! BTC people I have talked to are wonderful!! 12/6/00 I thought he was very nice and my impression of him only got better over the time I spent with him. He does go on auto-pilot during his description of the surgery but I'm sure that is because he wants to tell each patient the same info and not forget anything. The aftercare program sounds very good. He addressed the risks of surgery very well as far as I was concerned and I am an RN. He seems to be a very competent surgeon. I don't think his bedside manner will be very bad either. He even wished me a Merry Christmas. He's not bad to look at either!!!! 4/26/01 Had my 2 week appointment at BTC on Tuesday. Saw Dr. Schlesinger briefly. He looked at my incision and told me it looked great. Told me I needed to start wearing a bra again (yuck). Seemed rather busy but asked me if I had any questions and he answered the ones I had, so I am still happy with him!! 5/24/01 Had my 6 week appointment on Tuesday. Dr. S was very complimentary. He was not rushed at all. He answered my questions thoroughly and told me I look great!! Even saw that wonderful smile a few times today!!"
