Hi All,
Had started this process almost a year ago after much, MUCH, soul-searching. Did everything (I thought) right - found the right surgeon - got half-way though the testing and lo-and-behold my insurance hit me with a new regulation that they required six months of supervised 'coaching' from a company they chose - not the dietician I had done the previous six months supervised diet with. I appealed - they denied. I appealed again - again they denied. They then came up with the excuse that my primary care physician hadn't done the proper insurance referral for bariatric consultation prior to their new 'coaching' requirement - and I was stuck. TODAY!!! was my last 'appointment' with the telephone coach (what a joke!) and I can FINALLY get going again. I am SO EXCITED!!! Finally we can get the ball rolling and get this weight off.
Any suggestions or helps? I am totally open to any advice out there.
