I'm one week post op. I think I've lost 7 lbs. Actually, I gained while at the hospital, so if you count that 11 lbs.  Having a hard time drinking my protein.  Really want to chew ! Why is it everything on TV has to do with food? Gotta get motivated and get to movin'!

Well, I got a little disappointed today, found out my Doc will be out of town on my original surgery date 5/8. My new date is 5/28! I'll have a lot of rearranging to do, this date doesn't gee ha with all of my family stuff like the first one did. Oh well, that's life.                      Counting down the days!!!!

I'm so excited to be approved and to have my date.  Now, it's becoming a reality, and I'm very nervous!  I also have guilt, that I am being selfish, but I keep reminding myself this is not just for me, this will allow me to be so much more active with my husband and children. I look forward to being able to participate in softball with my daughter, and basketball with my boys, I'll play football with them too,  of course they may beat me down!  I look forward to being able to stand beside my husband, and not wonder to myself, if other people look at us and say "What's he doing with her?" Sooooooo.......come on May 8th.. and pray that I'm doing enough now to not gain weight before then......I would be crushed if my date got postponed because I had gained!!!!
