My name is Rose. I'm a 51 y/o mom of 8 - 4 of my own, 2 by marriage and 2 beautiful grandbabies. I've been married for almost 30 years to a man I dearly love. It is for them and myself that I decided to have surgery. I want to be around to see them further succeed, welcome more grandchildren and grow old with my man.
I am so tired of all the meds I'm on and being in constant fear that I will have another heart attack (yes, another) or go into kidney failure. I guess finding out my little brother needing a kidney transplant was a true slap in the face for me. The idea of possibly loosing him is something I can't handle. So I know my family couldn't handle loosing me.
I pray every day that my Lord guides me through this journey, along with my new friends at OH. Please pray for my success as I will pray for you. Also, please pray that my daughter, Becki, is a match for my brother, Alex.
