My journey began about 6 years ago when one of my good friends had gastric bypass surgery. I supported her and her decision. I watched her as she struggled with the changes that occur in life after surgery, vitamin regimens, attitude changes, etc. Then I met another lady who had also had the surgery, she was post op at the time I met her. She seemed to be struggling with the emotional changes. Lady #3 was someone I connected with online. She was very open about her surgery and the effects on her life.
